- PCD45x1 Series Controls Two-Phase Stepper Motors

Nippon Pulse’s PCD45x1 series controller chips are programmable pulse generators that are equipped with an excitation sequence generator circuit that allows for the driving of two-phase steppers motors. The PCD45x1 series is a low-cost option and eases the user’s ability to configure a multi-axial motion control system. The PCD4541 controls four axes, the PCD4521 two axes, and the PCD4511 one axis.

- Nippon Pulse Introduces L250SS Linear Shaft

Nippon Pulse has announced the release of its newest linear servomotor, the L250SS Linear Shaft Motor. The new SS-series is highlighted by a forcer that is 50mm in length, significantly reducing the length that had been offered on the standard L250 motor. The standard L250 forcer length ranges from 120-210mm.

A serial communication system from Nippon Pulse, the Motionnet©system allows users to greatly reduce wiring and provides input/output control, motor control, CPU emulation, and message communication. The network system transfers four bytes of data in 15.1 µsec using cyclical communication to control both input and output. Motionnet© system is suited for, but not limited to, factory automation, biomedical machines, and semiconductor equipment.
