Nippon Pulse's synchronous motors are constant speed, permanent magnet motors that are well-suited for timing applications.
Specification Overview
- Torque at sixty hertz: 0.5 mN•m to 1000 mN•m
- Rotating direction: Single direction (CW or CCW) and Dual direction (CW/CCW reversible)
- Rotations at sixty hertz: 1 rpm to 600 rpm
Synchronous Motor Advantages
- Available in both single direction (shaded pole design) and reverse direction (phase-shift by capacitor)
- Built with internal impedance protection, so the shaft can be continuously stalled without danger of burning the coils
